How Often Should You Deep Clean Your Las Vegas Home?
Standard cleaning and deep cleaning aren't the same thing — here's how to tell which one your home needs, and how often.

Standard, recurring cleaning keeps an already-clean home that way — wiped counters, vacuumed floors, tidy bathrooms. Deep cleaning is different: it goes after buildup that regular visits don't reach, like grout lines, baseboards, inside appliances, and grime around fixtures. Most homes need both, just on different schedules.
Las Vegas homes tend to need deep cleaning more often than general advice from other climates suggests, for a few specific reasons. Fine desert dust works its way through HVAC systems, window seals, and open doors far faster than in humid climates — it settles on blinds, ceiling fans, and baseboards within days, not weeks. The Valley's hard water also leaves mineral deposits on faucets, shower glass, and fixtures that a quick wipe-down won't fully clear. And a lot of Henderson and Las Vegas homes have gravel or xeriscaped yards, which means more grit getting tracked indoors than a typical grass-yard home.
A reasonable starting point: a deep clean every 3-4 months, with standard recurring visits (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) in between to maintain it. Homes with pets, allergies, or heavy foot traffic often do better on a tighter deep-clean cycle — closer to every 6-8 weeks. If you're moving in or out of a home, that's always worth a deep clean regardless of when the last one happened, since an empty home can be cleaned far more thoroughly than a lived-in one.
Signs it's time for one sooner rather than later: visible dust on ceiling fan blades or blinds, grout that's gone from white to gray, hard-water spots that don't wipe off, or a kitchen that looks clean on the surface but smells like it isn't. None of that means anything's wrong with your regular cleaning routine — it just means buildup has caught up with it, which happens to every home eventually.
If it's been a while, the easiest way to start is with a deep clean as a reset, then settle into whatever recurring schedule fits your home. We'll give you an honest read on which one you need when you request a free quote.
